Speaking to the media in Galle, Minister of State for Justice and Prison Affairs. Anuradha Jayaratne said that everyone can come together to confirm Ranil Wickramasinghe’s victory regardless of religion or caste.
He said that independent candidate Ranil Wickramasinghe will become the force where Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims all come together.
He further said that although other presidential candidates were given votes and came to power, Ranil Wickremesinghe will be the president again in six months.
