Muslim Congress MP M.L.A.M. Hizbullah said that the rumor that he was caught in a $2 million gold scam in Ghana is false.. He said this while addressing a media conference held yesterday (29) regarding the reports circulating regarding this gold scam.
The MP said that he had not invested any money in this business and that he had intervened in this transaction to support his foreign friends.
”Two million dollars were lost. My money was lost. The media was spreading rumors about how this money came and where it was taken. It was a complete lie. I did not pay a single rupee. All my expenses, flight tickets, hotels, all this was taken care of by my friends in Saudi Arabia. This business is theirs. I am just going as an advisor. Speak to them in English….This time too, they will deceive me if I am not there. This has nothing to do with politics. This is my personal issue.” he said.
