The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that water supply will be suspended to several areas in the Colombo District today (3) as well.
Accordingly, water supply will be suspended to several areas including Padukka, Homagama, Pelanwatte and Pannipitiya, which are supplied with water from the Kalatuwawa and Labugama reservoirs.
Accordingly, the water cut will be carried out as follows
Padukka – from 8 pm yesterday (02) to 8 pm today (03)
Homagama – from 8 pm today (03) to 8 pm tomorrow (04)
Pelanwatte – from 8 pm tomorrow (4) to 8 pm the next day (April 5)
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has decided to carry out water cuts to the above-mentioned areas once every three days.
