Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Nalinda Jayatissa says that the government has rejected reports that Poonerin and Mannar wind power projects which is conduct by the Adani Group of india was cancelled by the government
He said that the reports are false and that the government has not taken such a decision and that the government has only taken a decision to review the previously agreed project.
He said that a committee has been appointed to review the Adani Wind Power Project in a way that is more beneficial to the people of the country and the energy sector. He made these comments at a special media briefing held at the Government Information Department.
