The Act to abolish MPs’ pensions, which was recently passed by a majority vote in Parliament, has been gazetted.
In terms of Section 3 of the Act, any person who is entitled to receive a pension and is receiving a pension before the date of commencement of this Act shall cease to receive such pension on and after the date of commencement of this Act.
