The Petroleum Ministry is reportedly preparing to introduce the QR code for obtaining fuel introduced by the Ranil Wickremesinghe government very soon.
Sources connected to the Petroleum Corporation say that the process for this is already in the final stages, and accordingly, the fuel quota for each vehicle is to be decided and the QR code is to be re-enforced.
