Relief workers say that the bodies of the residents of the house affected by the landslide that occurred in Balangoda Gawaranghena area on Sunday night were found today.
These dead bodies have been found during a search operation carried out with the help of disaster management officers, Sri Lanka Army officers and local residents.
After the landslide, no information was reported about this family and since there was no clear information about whether they were trapped in the landslide house or they were not in the house at that time, police investigations have been started.
Two houses have been damaged by the landslide, and steps have been taken to evacuate the rest of the residents to safe places.
