The Bribery Commission has arrested former Provincial Councilor Salochana Gamage and another businessman.
The arrests were made in the Pitakotte area while they were accepting bribes from another business.
The Bribery Commission states that the bribe money was demanded on the promise of expediting compensation for land acquired by the Urban Development Authority.
