The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested Anuradhapura’s former Assistant Superintendent of Police Sanjeeva Mahanama.
Regarding the incident of him shooting at the vehicle of former Member of Parliament Uddika Premaratne It is suspected to be involved and this arrest has been made in relation to the investigations being carried out.
