MP Archuna Ramanathan said in Parliament today (14) that he would like to reiterate with responsibility that the containers released from the port contained weapons.
He further commented and revealed that he had received another set of documents related to the matter during a trip to Europe.
The MP also said:
During my trip to Europe, I found more documents regarding the containers released by Minister Bimal. Those three hundred and twenty-three containers contained weapons. If you want, take me to the CID. Not only to the CID, take me to Interpol.
Ask them to submit the container report. If possible, appoint a committee. Why are you only dragging me in? I repeat, they contained weapons. I am saying this responsibly.”
