Even snakes and tree barks have to be eaten in difficult times – NPP MP says

The National People’s Power has overcome many obstacles and has now reached the foot of the mountain, and now it has to climb that mountain with difficulty in the face of challenges, says the party’s Galle District Parliamentarian T.K. Jayasundara.

He said that it will not be possible to do everything comfortably in climbing the mountain of challenges ahead, and that sacrifices will have to be made. He said that China has now become number one in the world by going through such difficult times. He pointed out that the Chinese have even eaten snakes and tree barks in such times.

He said that not only the people of the country, but also everyone from President Anura Dissanayake to Parliamentarians are currently experiencing the same level of suffering.

He said that in the past few days, none of them had a place to stay in Colombo and that they were walking here and there with their bags on their shoulders. He also states that he has received an official residence in Madiwela as of today, but has not yet received a vehicle.
