Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody may or may not be sued.

Director General of the Commission for the Prevention of Bribery and Corruption Ranga Dissanayake expressed his views at a media conference held yesterday regarding the investigations into the allegations against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody.

Responding to a question raised by journalists, he said that the Bribery Commission is still dealing with the incident involving the Energy Minister. He further commented as follows:

‘Actually, the situation is that the Commission is dealing with it at the moment. Because they have requested legal representation. They are still dealing with it. They may or may not file it. Because I do not know, it is the decision of the Commission. If the Commission decides, I will file a case,’ he said.
