The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has rejected the 6.8% electricity tariff revision requested by the Ceylon Electricity Board.
Accordingly, the Commission has decided not to implement the electricity tariff revision for the third half of 2025 with effect from midnight today (14).
He made this announcement while participating in a special media briefing of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka.
