A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia’s Taninbar Islands on Sunday (14). The quake was felt in several small towns in eastern Indonesia, the agency said.
Indonesia lies on the Pacific Ring of Fire, a seismically active region. However, the country’s geophysics agency said there was no tsunami threat from the quake.
