Duminda granted bail on strict conditions.

Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake, who was remanded in custody, has been ordered to be released on bail on strict conditions.

He was arrested on May 23rd in connection with investigations into the ownership of a gold-plated T-56 firearm found in a luxury apartment complex in Havelock City.

Accordingly, he was produced before Colombo Chief High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne today (14) and Duminda was ordered to be released on a cash bail of Rs. 250,000 and two sureties of Rs. 5 million each.
