The Ministry of Justice has responded to reports of a dog biting a goat being hanged . It said the mediation board did not issue an order to hang the dog, but facilitated a mutually agreed solution that included handing over the dog to the goat owner after the dog’s owner denied liability.
According to the mediation panel, it does not issue orders but facilitates dialogue and is responsible for assisting the parties to reach a mutually agreed solution through voluntary discussion.
