The Government Medical Officers’ Association has announced that it will launch a medical strike in protest against the incident at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. Accordingly, the association says that the relevant strike will be in effect for a period of 24 hours from 8 am today (12).
Due to this, no outpatient treatment and clinical activities will be carried out today.
The Ministry of Health has announced that an urgent investigation will be conducted into the relevant incident and that the culprits will be brought to justice as soon as possible.
