The Natural Hazards Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department has advised the maritime and fishing communities not to enter the Arabian Sea until further notice.
They said that due to the active Southwest Monsoon conditions, very strong winds of up to 80 kmph and very rough seas may occur in the Arabian Sea.
People in the aforementioned sea areas are advised to come ashore immediately or move to safe areas.
