Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Dilshan Madhusankha has made the highest bid for a Sri Lankan player in the Indian Premier League.
He has been bought by Mumbai Indians for INR 4.6 crores. Vanindu Hasaranga fetched 1.5 crore rupees in this auction.
According to foreign media, he got this high price because of the hot condition between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at the time of the auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore deliberately raised the price of Dilshan Madhusankha and pulled out of the auction at the last minute, they said.
