Cabinet Spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that in order to prevent the suffering of the people due to postal workers’ strikes, they hope to provide services through digital methods in the future.
Accordingly, he said that there was a discussion in the cabinet meeting held yesterday (11) about introducing a system of receiving pensions, disability allowances and elderly allowances at home through new technical methods.
Minister Bandula Gunawardena also stated that they are expected to provide services through digital methods regarding the difficulties in paying fines due to the strike.
