Gujarat Titans (GT) have picked Sri Lankan Dasun Shanaka for the remaining matches of the 2025 Tata Indian Premier League (IPL). He replaces injured New Zealander Glenn Phillips.
Shanaka has scored 1456 runs in 102 T20Is and has taken 33 T20I wickets for Sri Lanka. He has also played 71 ODIs and 6 Tests for Sri Lanka.
He was previously a member of the Gujarat Titans team in 2023 and played 3 matches. The all-rounder will join Gujarat for Rs. 75 lakh. Gujarat Titans have won four of the six matches they have played in the IPL so far and are in second place in the points table.
