It is reported that Damita Abeyratne’s name has been removed from the list as of today, who announced to the media that she will represent Sajaba from Ratnapura district.
When she came to the Ratnapura District Secretariat today (11) to sign the nominations of Samagi Jana Balawega in the general election, she was informed that her name was not on the list of party nominations.
Commenting on this, Samagi Jana Balawega’s Ratnapura district leader Hesha Withanage said that it was decided not to include candidates imported from outside the Ratnapura district list.
