Kumara Dharmasena, a former Sri Lankan cricketer and international referee, and 12 members of the board of directors of Binthanna Plantation Private Company have been issued notices to appear before the court on October 12.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasena has made this order considering a personal complaint filed before the court by Pradeep Malinga Fernando, a resident of Wattala area, with Narahenpita Police as respondents.
The magistrate had ordered the Narahenpita police to appear before the court and give evidence in this regard.
