The Court of Appeal today set February 3 as the date to pronounce the order on the interim relief sought by Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thero and two Buddhist monks who are currently on remand for placing a Buddha statue in Trincomalee.
A two-member bench of the Court of Appeal, comprising Justice Rohantha Abeysuriya, the Chairman of the Court of Appeal, and Justice Priyantha Fernando, announced that the court would pronounce its order next Tuesday (03).
