The Court of Appeal has issued an order suspending all election proceedings relating to local government bodies that have filed petitions regarding the rejection of nominations.
Accordingly, the Court of Appeal has suspended election proceedings for those local government bodies until tomorrow (April 02).
The court order has been issued after considering several petitions filed by candidates and independent groups regarding the rejection of nominations.
