Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, chief organizer of the ruling party, said that it is regrettable that the leader of the opposition has not consulted the report of the presidential commission related to the Easter Sunday terror attack, which has been given to the parliamentary library for several years ago.
The minister says that the opposition is trying to mislead the people regarding the serious issue affecting the country. The Minister stated this today while joining the debate regarding the Presidential Commission report related to the Easter terror attack when Parliament met today (19) under the chairmanship of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane.
The leader of the opposition said that although he requested to receive a copy of the Easter report, he was informed that certain volumes of it could not be given and thus his privileges were violated.
