A ready-made clothing store owner in Thalawathugoda has been arrested for discreetly hiding a camera in a fitting room and filming women changing clothes.
The person arrested is a 43-year-old resident of Kottawa.
The suspect’s mobile phone was examined by the police. Police say that more than 200 videos recorded in the room were found during the examination.
The police have launched an investigation to find out whether the videos were posted on the internet or sold to pornographic websites.
