According to the report, a meeting between the President’s Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake and the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Andrew Patrick was held at the Presidential Secretariat.
It is said that the existing system of British local government bodies to reduce fraud and corruption is being discussed by both sides.
Accordingly, the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Andrew Patrick, stated that efforts can be made to inform the members of parliament about the British parliamentary tradition, the Presidential Media Division states.
