Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, who is currently residing in the United States, has completely stopped conducting the political activities of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, says MP DV Chanaka. He also states that the organization of the Podujana Peramuna is currently being carried out by the party’s national organizer Namal Rajapaksa.
Accordingly, Basil Rajapaksa will not be involved in the organization of the Podujana Peramuna in this local government election, he further states.
He said this during a program on Hiru Rupavahini.
