The Colombo Fort Magistrate granted the expected bail yesterday preventing the arrest of actress Damita Abeyratne and her husband until March 6th. Allegations have been made against them that they cheated 30 lakh rupees by saying that they would provide job opportunities in Korea.
In relation to this, Magistrate Thilina Gamage issued a notice to the O.I.C of the Computer Crime Division of the Criminal Investigation Department to appear before the court on the next court date.
