An injunction order from the court on the S.J.B.rally

The court has issued a restraining order regarding the protest rally scheduled to be held by Samagi Jana Balawegaya today (30) at 1.30 pm in Colombo.

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has given these orders to opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, Samagi Jana Balavegaye General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Mujibar Rahman and others. By order, it is prohibited to hold a protest march in Maligawatta police domain in such a way as to cause inconvenience to the public and obstruct the traffic.

Commenting on this rally yesterday, the General Secretary of the party Ranjith Madduma Bandara said that Samagi Jana Balawegaya does not consider any restrictions. He further to said that Samagi Jana Balawega will not consider any restrictions and will take to the streets tomorrow and fire the first shot to topple the current government.

He added that the Inspector General of Police or anyone else can impose any restrictions but we will break all the rules and bring 50,000 to Colombo tomorrow.
