The Road Development Authority says that the other lanes of the Southern Expressway blocked due to the landslide between Imaduwa and Pinnaduwa will be opened for traffic after the landslide section is reconstructed.
The authority says that only the two left lanes from Colombo towards Matara were opened for traffic yesterday at 6 pm so that both sides can travel.
Its Director General I.V.S. Mr. Weerakoon said that he will discuss the matter with the National Built Research Organization and finish its renovation works as soon as possible.
