Air Indigo increases number of flights to Sri Lanka

Indigo Airlines has broadened its connectivity to Sri Lanka by introducing direct flights from Mumbai to Colombo starting today (12), according to Airports and Aviation Services Pvt Ltd.

As per the announcement, Indigo flights will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. With this new route expansion, the number of destinations served by Indigo will increase to four.

The company emphasized that this expansion will significantly enhance tourism, trade, and travel between Sri Lanka and India.

Indigo has also made plans to commence two flights per week between India and Palali starting from June.
