It is reported that a young man from Mailitti area of Jaffna, who was working in Canada, was shot dead yesterday (21). Panchalingam Parthipan, a 44-year-old resident, was shot in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
The shooting took place near his residence. So far no information has been revealed about the reason for the shooting or who fired the shots.
After being informed about the incident, the police came and tried to take him to the hospital who was shot and injured, but it is reported that he had already died. Canada’s Ontario police are investigating the murder.
