The attack took place in the early hours of yesterday (10) and the attackers shot at the gate of the house and fled, foreign media reported.
The country’s security forces are said to have launched an investigation into the shooting. Fast bowler Naseem Shah is scheduled to participate in the one-day cricket match against Sri Lanka today (11).
The three-match one-day series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin today in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
