Japan is a victim of the corruption that is rooted in Sri Lanka, said Japanese Ambassador Akio Isomata. He said this at a roundtable discussion organized by the Pathfinder Foundation last week.
He reaffirmed Japan’s support for Sri Lanka’s development, saying that transparency is necessary to attract foreign investment. The Japanese ambassador appreciated Sri Lanka’s launch of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan.
