Anuradhapura Municipal Commissioner Ruwan Wijesinghe says that the Anuradhapura Poson Festival, which was previously advised to be stopped, has been decided again. Accordingly, he added that the Anuradhapura Purwara Udanaya Fun Festival will be held from tomorrow to the 14th.
The government had given instructions to stop this festival as it would interfere with the general examination. Therefore, the organizers have decided to hold the festival without the use of loudspeakers.
