A body was found on a chair in the Immigration Department building in Battaramulla, police said. The deceased was a resident of the Hokandara area who worked in connection with the department’s cleaning department. The sources further say that the age of the deceased is around 73 years, and the cause of death has not been reported.
The body has now been taken to the Colombo National Hospital for post-mortem examination.
