Fort Magistrate Tanuja Lakmali today (09) ordered the police to arrest Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero and produce him in court.
The magistrate issued this order because Gnanasara Thero did not appear in the open court at the time of the hearing of the case filed for the publication of wrong and false statements to the media that insulted the Quran and Islam during a press conference held by the at the Nippon Hotel in Colombo In 2016 .
