According to the weather forecast issued on 04 June 2024 at 05.30 am, a temporary decrease in the heavy rain conditions in the south-western part of the island is expected from today (04).
Several rainy seasons occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, South and North-West provinces.
Rest of the island may experience rain or thundershowers at few places during evening or night.
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the danger caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may accompany thunderstorms.
