A group of police Narcotics Bureau officers reportedly opened fire on a car in the Negombo area today (30).
It is reported that the car was fired upon on suspicion that it was transporting drugs and two suspects inside have been arrested. An officer of the Police Narcotics Bureau was also injured in the incident.
The police have seized nearly 500 grams of ice from the possession of the suspects.
