According to this, in the 22 months since he took over as minister on May 20, 2022, an amount of 9691.4 million US dollars has been brought to this country as remittances from overseas workers.

It is reported that the amount of remittances sent by expatriate workers in February alone is 476.4 million dollars. This is a 14% increase compared to February last year.

Recently, many incentives have been introduced to the migrant workers to sent their money through the legal system. Many programs have been implemented under the guidance of the minister, including the introduction of an electronic vehicle import permit system, the implementation of a multi-purpose loan scheme, the establishment of emigrant committees, and the introduction of a pension system.
