A group of members of the Podujana Peramuna have reached an agreement to express their support for Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe in the upcoming elections.
This was after a discussion between President Ranil Wickramasinghe and a group of members of the SLPP held Yesterday (29).
For this discussion, Ajith Rajapakse, Gamini Valeboda, Premnath C. Dolawatta, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Dilum Amunugama, Kanchana Wijesekera, S. It is said that a large group of MPs including B Dissanayake, Lohan Ratwatte, Geeta Kumarasinghe and Ali Sabri were present.
It is reported that the MPs further said that they are trying to get the support of Pohottuwa.
After the meeting of the political board of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, the MPs have come for this discussion and it is said that nearly 70 people including the Ministers of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna participated in this.
