State Minister for Transport Lasantha Alagiyawanna says that 20% of vehicles fail in the annual emition tests in Sri Lanka and the vehicles in question do not comply with the prescribed standards.
Minister of State Lasantha Alagiyawanna expressed these views while attending a press conference held today (05) at the Presidential Media Center.
Accordingly, the Minister of State who spoke further said that along with obtaining the vehicle emition test certificate, a program will be prepared to obtain the vehicle license and insurance from the same place.
