17 vehicles of the Presidential Secretariat are sold, generating an income of 200 million

The auction for the sale of 26 luxury vehicles and decommissioned vehicles under the second phase of the sale of luxury vehicles owned by the Presidential Secretariat was held today (15).

26 vehicles that were provided to advisors and staff appointed by former ministers and the former President under Article 41 (01) of the Constitution during their tenure were auctioned here.

The Presidential Media Division says that 17 of them were sold today.

A BMW car, 02 Ford Everest cars, a Hyundai Terracan, 02 Land Rover Discovery cars, a Mitsubishi Montero, 03 Nissan petrol cars, 02 Nissan motor cars, a Porsche Cayenne car, 05 SsangYong Rexton jeeps, a Land Cruiser Sahara car, 06 V 08 cars and a Mitsubishi Rosa air-conditioned bus were put up for auction today.

The sale of vehicles owned by the Presidential Secretariat is being carried out with the aim of cutting government expenditure and promoting financial accountability.

About 108 businessmen have joined hands to purchase these vehicles, and due to this, there is a huge demand for the vehicles.

Accordingly, the Presidential Media Division says that an amount exceeding Rs. 200 million was earned from the sale of vehicles at the auction held today.
