10 classes of a Matara school are closed due to a landslide

The school authorities have taken steps to give holidays to the students of classes 10 of Matara Telijjawila Royal Maha Vidyalaya today (24). That is due to the risk of landslides.

Accordingly, all the children studying in the 06th grade and 08th grade of the college have been given a school holiday today and this decision has been taken due to the fact that a mound of earth behind the two-storey building where the classes are held has shown a slight landslide condition.

Accordingly, this decision has been taken considering the risk that has arisen due to the bad weather conditions.
