The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has decided to reduce the electricity bill by 14.2% from midnight tonight.
Accordingly, 65 percent fee will be reduced for the category with monthly consumption between 0 and 30 in the domestic sector. The unit has been reduced from 30 rupees to 10 rupees, and the monthly fees have been reduced from 400 rupees to 150 rupees.
In the category below 60 units, the unit fee will be reduced from 42 to 32 rupees and the monthly fees will be reduced from 650 to 300 rupees.
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has decided that the monthly fee will be reduced from 1500 to 1000 rupees and the unit will be reduced from 42 to 35 rupees for the 91 and 120 category units.
