The official talks between the delegation of the International Monetary Fund and the Sri Lankan authorities are scheduled to begin today (12). It is stated that Finance Ministry officials and Central Bank officials are going to be contacted for the first discussion.
It is stated that the delegation of the International Monetary Fund is visiting the island in conjunction with the first review of the IMF to be carried out at the end of this year.
