Minister of State for Women and Children Geetha Kumarasinghe told a press conference that they are working to prepare a special safe center for the care of newborn children whose parents cannot take care of them due to various problems.
The Minister further says that necessary arrangements will be made for the care of newborn children and their safety through the relevant center. She also said that discussions with the President have been started for establishing the center as soon as possible.
