The cabinet has approved the transfer of the famous Ahelepola walawwa to Dalada Maliga and turning it into a wax museum representing all the historical facts that reflect its historical culture.
Accordingly, a project has been prepared with the aim of establishing a museum there and presenting the information about history in a more attractive way to the present society, so the report has recommended that the Ahelepola walawwa be handed over to Dalada Maligawa .
The building is to be maintained to represent the great historical and ecological background of the Kandy Kingdom that existed hundreds of years ago.
